Senior Interior Designer – East Rand (Full‑time)

About the role

Senior Interior Designer needed for an established interior design firm in East Rand, Johannesburg. Lead projects from concept through installation, mentor junior designers and ensure delivery on time and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design process for multiple residential, commercial and hospitality projects, from concept development to final installation.
• Collaborate with clients to capture vision and deliver tailored design solutions, including mood boards, material selections and 3D renderings.
• Manage project budgets, schedules and resources, coordinating with contractors, vendors and stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to maintain design integrity and quality.
• Prepare and manage project documentation such as contracts, specifications and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field (NCIDQ preferred).
• 5‑7 years of interior design experience with a strong, diverse portfolio.
• Proven ability to lead projects from concept to completion and mentor junior staff.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
