Senior Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

The Senior Financial Reporting Manager will lead the Division’s strategic financial reporting, planning, forecasting and performance‑management functions. This role acts as a finance business partner, delivering accurate and insightful financial information to support executive and Board decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, annual and statutory financial reports in line with corporate governance and regulatory standards.
• Consolidate and present executive and Board‑level reporting packs with performance commentary, business insights and strategic recommendations.
• Produce quarterly Division MD reports highlighting operational performance, key risks, opportunities and strategic drivers.
• Maintain the integrity, consistency and reliability of all financial information used for decision‑making across the Division.
• Monitor competitor performance, market trends and industry benchmarks to inform commercial strategy.
• Identify emerging accounting, legislative and regulatory developments and advise leadership on potential impacts.
• Drive the Division’s budgeting process, develop assumptions, financial models and timelines, and ensure timely submission.
• Lead forecasting activities, provide forward‑looking projections and align them with strategic priorities.
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets, forecasts and prior periods, highlighting gaps, risks and corrective actions.
• Partner with operational leaders to evaluate performance against KPIs and financial targets.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead end‑to‑end financial reporting for a large business unit.
• Experience managing budgeting, forecasting and multi‑year strategic planning processes.
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of delivering variance analysis and actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to produce executive‑level reports and present findings to senior leadership.
