Senior Financial Manager

About the role

Are you a strategic finance leader looking to make a meaningful impact within a high‑growth fintech environment? This role will lead a multi‑jurisdictional finance function, partner with executive leadership, and drive financial performance across African markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function across multiple African jurisdictions.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Deliver strategic financial insights to support business growth.
• Oversee treasury operations, cash management, and FX exposure.
• Ensure accurate and timely IFRS‑compliant reporting.
• Monitor compliance, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop financial models to support profitability and expansion initiatives.
• Build and lead a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting or equivalent; CA(SA) qualification (non‑negotiable).
• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Experience within fintech, payments, cryptocurrency, digital assets, or financial services.
• Strong exposure to treasury management and financial reporting.
• Proven track record of building scalable finance processes and teams across multiple African markets.

What we offer

• Annual remuneration between R 1 200 000 and R 1 600 000.
