Senior Finance Product Owner

About the role

As a Finance ERP Product Owner within TFG South Africa, you will drive the vision and delivery of finance solutions that meet customer needs. Working in an agile team, you act as the bridge between business stakeholders and development, ensuring the right solutions are built the right way.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and design finance system solutions, including integration with other platforms.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, translating needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Lead sprint planning, PI preparation and coordinate cross‑team dependencies.
• Oversee testing activities, draft test scenarios, and approve final test results.
• Shape the Finance ERP roadmap, communicate vision, and align stakeholders across business and technology.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance ERP applications and product ownership.
• Independent, motivated self‑starter with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret complex information, drive change and prioritize effectively.
• Comfortable with ongoing technological and organisational change.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems, integration and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Scaled Agile (SAFe) or Product Owner certification is desirable.
