Senior Finance Analyst – Billing & Analytics

About the role

The Senior Finance Analyst will lead the end‑to‑end billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while providing actionable insights to senior management. You will work closely with Finance, Sales, Operations and external partners to resolve complex billing issues and drive revenue performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and analyse the complete monthly billing cycle, guaranteeing completeness and accuracy.
• Identify trends, anomalies, variances and potential revenue leakage in high‑volume billing data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and analytical tools for management.
• Perform detailed reconciliations between supplier, customer and internal billing data.
• Investigate billing discrepancies, quantify financial impact and resolve pricing, VAT, discounts, commissions and rebates issues.
• Prepare exception reports and support decision‑making with clear insights.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve billing processes, controls and data quality.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, complex formulas, large datasets).
• Strong data analysis, reconciliation and reporting capabilities.
• Experience creating and maintaining management dashboards and reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and investigative problem‑solving skills.
