Senior Digital Delivery Technician (Modeller)

About the role

Provide and undertake complex design modelling tasks, prepare tender and construction documents, and deliver technical support to meet functional group and client requirements. The role involves BIM implementation, Autodesk troubleshooting, and mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD models, including 3D visualisations for presentations.
• Create and manage Autodesk templates, libraries and parametric workflows.
• Program within Autodesk using visual coding and automation tools.
• Conduct quality audits on outgoing drawings and ensure standardisation across projects.
• Implement BIM processes, adhere to ISO‑19650 standards and support project delivery meetings.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot Autodesk issues and set up departmental interfaces.
• Mentor and train junior staff, introduce graduate engineers to in‑house standards.
• Assist project managers with site queries, reporting solutions and ensure client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Professional registration in drawing/modelling (Autodesk certification preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar digital delivery or modelling role.
• Proven experience on relevant engineering or construction projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk template creation, visual coding/automation.
• Experience with Relux or Dialux for lighting design.
• Understanding of BIM implementation, ISO‑19650 and parametric modelling.
• Ability to produce 3D details to LOD deliverables.
