Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a fast‑growing technology team in Rosebank. The role focuses on cloud platforms, automation, and building resilient, scalable environments that support mission‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects using Infrastructure‑as‑Code principles.
• Drive cloud migration initiatives and support multi‑cloud environments.
• Build, maintain, and optimise Kubernetes‑based infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Terraform deployments.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability platforms.
• Maintain infrastructure security, identity management, and access controls.
• Support production environments and resolve critical incidents.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes.
• Promote DevOps best practices and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 7–10+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience.
• Strong Terraform experience.
• Advanced Kubernetes administration experience.
• Excellent Docker knowledge.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Must be authorised to work in South Africa.
