Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Automation

About the role

A leading technology house is looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure of a rapidly scaling SaaS platform. You will work on AWS‑based environments, build automated delivery pipelines, and ensure production systems remain stable, performant and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain highly available AWS infrastructure (ECS, EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront).
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins and Terraform/CloudFormation.
• Monitor system health with Prometheus and Grafana, and respond to incidents to minimise downtime.
• Automate provisioning and configuration of Docker and Kubernetes workloads.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimise performance, cost and security.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS and production‑grade cloud services.
• Proven track record in high‑availability environments and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Deep understanding of networking, security, scalability and system performance.
• Excellent troubleshooting instincts and clear communication skills.
