Senior Desktop & Office 365 Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Desktop & Office 365 Engineer to join our client’s team in Gqeberha or Claremont. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality desktop support and managing Office 365 services for a range of end‑users. You will work independently, solve complex technical problems and act as an escalation point for junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve client support tickets via email or phone.
• Configure client software, set up email accounts and troubleshoot related issues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the Office 365 portal and Exchange environment.
• Perform regular patch management, hardware support and antivirus updates using RMM tools.
• Handle escalations from junior engineers and provide guidance.

Required profile

• 2‑ or 3‑year diploma in IT support services or A+ and N+ certifications.
• 4–5 years of experience in a similar support or engineering role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Office 365, including user management, Azure AD sync or cloud, Exchange mailbox troubleshooting, spam filtering, mail tracing and DNS management.
