Senior Credit Controller – Retail

About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Credit Controller with strong experience in the retail sector. The role involves managing a dedicated portfolio of retail accounts, ensuring timely collections, accurate reconciliations and the efficient resolution of complex claims.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor a portfolio of retail debtor accounts.
- Execute timely collection activities and follow‑up on overdue balances.
- Perform accurate reconciliations of payments and account statements.
- Investigate and resolve complex credit claims and disputes.
- Prepare regular reports on ageing, cash flow and collection performance.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller, preferably within retail.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage a large, intricate debtor portfolio.
Required skills
- Power‑user proficiency with Syspro 8.
- Advanced level of Microsoft Excel for handling large data sets.
