Senior Consultant (East London)

About the role

Icebolethu FSP, a division of Icebolethu Group, is looking for a Senior Consultant to lead its East London branch. The role focuses on managing daily operations, retaining clients, and driving sales of funeral assurance and life assurance products.

Key responsibilities

• Retain and grow the client portfolio.
• Supervise and manage daily branch operations.
• Lead, coach and mentor sales teams to achieve targets.
• Set and monitor individual and team sales goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle escalated customer queries and resolve complaints.
• Implement sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs.
• Oversee risk management and maintain proper documentation.
• Drive customer service excellence and improve client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• 2–3 years’ experience in financial services.
• Business Management, Marketing or related tertiary qualification.
• Clear ITC and criminal record.
• Own reliable transport and cell phone.
• RE‑5 or RE‑1 qualification (advantage).
• Proven success in marketing life assurance products.
