Senior Client Portfolio Manager

About the role

The Senior Client Portfolio Manager will own the commercial success, operational excellence and client satisfaction for a portfolio of software engineering customers. Reporting to senior leadership, you will act as the executive sponsor, drive revenue growth and ensure high‑quality delivery across multiple engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture executive relationships with client stakeholders, acting as the trusted sponsor for the portfolio.
• Create and execute strategic account plans, leading revenue expansion, renewals and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Provide executive oversight of delivery, ensuring projects meet time, budget and quality targets while owning SLA, KPI and contractual performance.
• Lead governance forums such as EBRs and QBRs, manage escalations and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor Delivery Managers, Project Managers, Scrum Masters and Technical Leads, fostering high‑performing, accountable teams.
• Partner with competency leaders to build technical capability and promote modern engineering practices.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in client portfolio or account management within the technology services sector.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of revenue growth and profitability.
• Excellent leadership and people‑development skills, capable of building and retaining high‑performing teams.
• Ability to communicate strategic vision to C‑level executives and influence decision‑making.
