About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join a leading South African financial services institution. The role focuses on building high‑quality, scalable solutions using modern development practices within a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET applications that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with product owners and architects to translate complex challenges into robust software solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security through best practices and automated testing.
• Support front‑end development using modern JavaScript frameworks and micro‑frontend techniques.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• BCom or BSc degree, or an equivalent qualification.

Required skills

• C#.NET
• Microsoft Azure
• SQL Server 2012 or newer
• Modern JavaScript libraries such as Angular, Underscore, KnockoutJS, jQuery, BackboneJS, Foundation
• Front‑end development with Angular; micro‑frontend knowledge is a plus
