Senior Back-End Developer

About the role

Our client in Pretoria is seeking a Senior Back‑End Developer to design, build, and maintain robust server‑side solutions. You will work within an Agile Scrum team, collaborating closely with stakeholders and fellow engineers to deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine back‑end and front‑end user stories throughout the sprint lifecycle.
• Participate actively in all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Provide support for existing solutions, including DevOps tasks and incident resolution.
• Prototype and propose solutions for ambiguous requirements, ensuring clear technical direction.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience with C# or comparable Microsoft technologies.
• Strong background in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced setting.
