Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to shape and evolve our global CI/CD platform. You will partner with engineering teams to build secure, scalable, and reliable delivery pipelines, applying infrastructure‑as‑code, automation, and modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Develop and support Jenkins shared libraries, pipeline templates, and reusable deployment patterns.
• Migrate legacy pipelines to standardized CI/CD approaches with clear documentation.
• Integrate automated security, quality, and compliance checks and improve observability using OpenTelemetry.
• Build and support Python‑based tooling and automation to enhance platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with application teams to design CI/CD flows aligned with platform standards.
• Provide operational support for pipelines, including critical incident response.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with AWS and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
• Strong background designing and supporting CI/CD platforms, especially Jenkins.
• Proficient in Python for building reusable tooling and automation.
• Good understanding of container and deployment practices such as Docker, ECR, GitOps, and blue/green deployments.
• Experience integrating security, quality, and compliance controls into engineering workflows.
• Experience improving observability and monitoring of pipelines.
