Senior API Developer

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior API Developer to design and build secure, high‑performing APIs that power enterprise data products and digital platforms. You will create scalable integration solutions that enable seamless data exchange between internal systems and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure RESTful APIs and integration services.
• Build APIs exposing enterprise insights, analytical datasets, scores, and data products.
• Implement authentication, authorisation, rate limiting, and API security controls.
• Optimise API performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop integration solutions for internal and third‑party platforms.
• Collaborate with architects, software engineers, and data engineering teams.
• Produce technical documentation and API specifications.
• Support API monitoring, testing, and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
