Senior Analyst Developer

About the role

Our client, a leading financial services institution, is looking for a Senior Analyst Developer to join a 24‑month payments modernisation and sustainment programme. The role will involve working on high‑availability payments platforms in a highly regulated environment, focusing on Java, C# and related technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, maintain and support national payments solutions, including IBM MQ integration and related web applications.
• Support optimisation and sustainment of existing platforms.
• Produce detailed functional and technical specifications aligned with approved business requirements.
• Contribute to solution design, system architecture and production support.
• Participate in governance, change control and release management processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least eight years of experience as a senior developer or technical resource in project and support environments.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Experience in a business‑as‑usual support setting, including incident, problem and change management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills.
