Senior AI / Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AI / Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of production‑grade conversational AI solutions. You will work directly on client‑facing products, building voice and text agents that drive real business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise AI voice and text agents for production use.
• Develop and refine dialogue flows, prompt frameworks and evaluation systems.
• Improve speech‑to‑text (STT) and text‑to‑speech (TTS) pipelines for performance and accuracy.
• Build, test and deploy conversational bots and campaign variants.
• Own configuration and optimisation of client‑specific AI agent implementations.
• Develop scalable integrations using APIs and backend services.
• Monitor, evaluate and continuously improve AI performance in production environments.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and client‑facing teams to deliver best‑in‑class experiences.
• Contribute to AI engineering standards, best practices and technical direction.

Required profile

• Senior engineer who enjoys hands‑on building over managing.
• Comfortable in fast‑paced, product‑driven environments.
• Technically curious and up‑to‑date with AI and LLM advancements.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
• Proactive problem‑solver able to take ownership from concept to production.

Required skills

• Proven experience building and deploying LLM‑powered voice or text applications.
• Strong software engineering skills with Python.
• Experience developing and maintaining production‑scale systems.
• Solid understanding of prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks and AI quality measurement.
• Experience integrating and managing APIs.
• Strong version‑control practices using GitHub.
• Ability to work independently and debug complex technical issues.
