Senior Agronomist

About the role

The Senior Agronomist will provide technical sales support across Bayer's seed, traits, biologicals, and crop‑protection portfolios. Working closely with the Customer Facing Squad, you will help achieve commercial targets while leading the localisation, validation, and launch of new technologies through field trials and farmer demonstrations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Customer Facing Squad in meeting sales targets for seed and crop protection.
• Lead localisation, validation, and launch of new biotech and hybrid technologies under farmer conditions.
• Design, implement, and execute field protocols, including treatments, site assignments, and data collection.
• Provide data and technical expertise to support product positioning and deregulation efforts.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct large‑scale demonstrations and drive digital transformation within Agronomic Excellence.
• Ensure compliance with safety, stewardship, and company policies during field activities.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in agronomy, seed technology, or crop protection.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional sales teams and drive commercial outcomes.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data generation and interpretation.
• Excellent communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement.
