About the role

Join Discover Africa Safaris as a Senior Africa Safari Expert and turn your passion for Africa’s landscapes, wildlife and cultures into unforgettable travel experiences. You will act as a guide, storyteller and trusted advisor, crafting bespoke luxury safaris that inspire and connect travelers with the continent.

Key responsibilities

• Create tailor‑made safari itineraries that match client expectations, preferences and budgets.
• Build lasting relationships by managing client interactions from inquiry through post‑travel follow‑up.
• Oversee the entire booking process, ensuring accurate payments, logistics and documentation.
• Deliver wow moments that surprise and delight clients, creating memorable experiences.
• Achieve monthly sales targets while contributing to a collaborative, high‑performance team.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Travel and Tourism.
• Minimum 5 years experience selling African safaris.
• Strong knowledge of African destinations, logistics and property partners.
• Proven sales success working directly with clients.
• Familiarity with Travelyst, WETU and Google Workspace.

Required skills

• Travelyst – booking and itinerary management platform.
• WETU – travel operations tool.
• Google Workspace – collaboration and documentation suite.
