About the role

The Foschini Group is seeking energetic seasonal sales associates to deliver an exceptional shopping experience during the festive period across its stores in the Eastern Cape (Port Elizabeth, Mthatha and East London). This full‑time, 120‑hour contract role is ideal for candidates who love retail, enjoy fast‑paced environments and thrive on customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring every customer enjoys a memorable visit.
• Meet and exceed sales targets by actively promoting a diverse product range.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of fashion and décor trends.
• Identify new sales opportunities and suggest appropriate solutions.
• Replenish merchandise promptly to keep the store customer‑ready.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• Matric certificate (advantageous).
• South African citizenship.
• Strong work ethic, initiative and ability to work under pressure.
• Reliable transport and immediate availability.
