Sea and Air Import Controller

About the role

GEODIS is seeking a senior Sea and Air Import Controller to coordinate inbound shipments, negotiate rates, and ensure high‑quality service for its global customers. The role involves managing the full import process, from documentation to invoicing, while maintaining compliance and KPI targets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate inbound sea and air shipments according to SOPs and industry standards.
• Negotiate carrier rates, provide clients with updated rate sheets, and analyse pricing options.
• Gather customer documentation, set up files in the operational system, calculate charges, and generate cost sheets and invoices.
• Maintain client schedules, ensure NextGen (CW1) data is up‑to‑date, and upload required documents.
• Meet IRIS, invoicing, accrual, and shipment‑completion KPI requirements.
• Recover disbursements, investigate unrecoverable amounts, and support financial performance.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in sea and air import logistics.
• Strong team orientation and communication skills.
• Highly driven and able to work under KPI pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with NextGen (CW1) system.
• Familiarity with IRIS compliance tools.
