Scrum Master – 6‑Month Contract with Potential Permanent

About the role

Talent Sauce is seeking two Scrum Masters for its Intermediary Applications division in Cape Town. The role starts as a six‑month fixed‑term contract with a strong possibility of conversion to a permanent position based on performance and cultural fit. You will act as a servant‑leader, driving team velocity and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, especially around AI‑enabled agile delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives) to keep teams focused and productive.
• Identify and remove impediments, coordinating with operations, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Leverage AI tools and analytics to generate sprint performance insights, predict delivery risks, and present findings to the CIO and Product Owners.
• Coach development teams and Product Owners on Agile best practices, adapting methods for AI‑driven development cycles.
• Maintain transparent communication between technical pods and broader business units while shielding the team from unnecessary distractions.
• Champion psychological safety, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team.

Required profile

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM or PSM) with 4–6 years of Scrum Master experience in software development.
• Prior experience in the Financial Services sector, preferably wealth management or intermediary distribution.
• Proven ability to guide teams through complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
• High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a servant‑leadership mindset.
