Scheme Consultant

About the role

Icebolethu FSP, a division of Icebolethu Group, is looking for a Scheme Consultant based in Ferndale, Randburg. Icebolethu Group is South Africa's second largest funeral assurance group and an authorised financial service provider. The position is open on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities

• Meet and exceed retention and collection targets
• Provide efficient, compliant and professional support for clients and office administration
• Coordinate and escalate matters efficiently
• Improve client satisfaction, retention and conversion
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality and grooming standards

Required profile

• Matric (required)
• Diploma in Business Management or equivalent (advantageous)
• Tertiary development courses (advantageous)
• Sales experience and insurance industry experience
• Experience in a groups department environment (advantageous)
• Fluency in English and two other official South African languages

Required skills

• Knowledge of premium collection cycles and FAIS/FIC Act compliance
• Sales techniques and customer service excellence
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Strong verbal communication, teamwork, time management and attention to detail
