Salesperson – Branding & Advertising

About the role

This full-time, on-site Salesperson position is based in Johannesburg. You will prospect and build relationships with new and existing clients in the branding and advertising space, including brands, agencies and media buyers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities, prepare proposals and presentations, negotiate contracts and close deals to meet and exceed targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand inventory and site capabilities, ensuring campaigns are accurately scoped and implemented.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, market insights and pipeline activity, and represent Lereko Captivate at meetings, industry events and client engagements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably within car fleet, truck, fabric or outdoor media and advertising.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities to secure long-term partnerships.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline, identify opportunities and work toward defined revenue and performance targets.
• Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced environment with strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Knowledge of branding and advertising concepts or willingness to learn sector-specific offerings quickly.
• Proficiency with basic office and CRM tools for tracking leads, proposals and client interactions.
• Matriculation or high-school completion required; a post-school qualification in marketing, business or communications is advantageous.
• Must possess a car, a valid driver’s licence and be fluent in English and Afrikaans.
