Sales & Service Manager – South Africa

About the role

The Sales & Service Manager will lead customer‑focused sales and service activities for Paper Machine Clothing (PMC) products across South Africa. You will drive revenue, provide technical and commercial support, and ensure high‑quality service to maximise customer satisfaction and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve turnover and sales targets within the assigned geographic area.
• Secure commercially optimal orders, oversee commissioning and demonstrate product value.
• Monitor customer demand, order backlog and compliance with storage limits.
• Support budget preparation and participate in S&OP planning processes.
• Provide technical guidance, product selection for quotations and deliver performance analyses against competitors.
• Maintain accurate customer records, prepare visit reports and handle technical/commercial complaints.

Required profile

• Strong sales acumen with a proven record of meeting commercial targets.
• Solid technical understanding of PMC products and paper‑machine processes.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across functions.
• Analytical mindset to identify improvement opportunities and willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
