Sales Representative – Cape Town (R12,000 base)

About the role

Our client manufactures frozen smoothies and IQF frozen fruits for the food‑service sector. Based in Johannesburg with a distribution warehouse in Cape Town, the company is expanding rapidly and seeks a motivated Sales Representative to help grow its market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the food‑service market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase market share.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve growth targets.

Required profile

• Strong account‑management and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with the food & beverage or hospitality industry is a plus.
• Passion for health and wellness products is beneficial.
• Own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.

Required skills

What we offer

• Basic salary of approximately R12,000 per month.
• Commission structure for additional earnings based on sales performance.
• Monday‑Friday work schedule, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
