Sales Representative – Automotive Seat Covers (Midrand/Pretoria)

About the role

We are a leading manufacturer of custom vehicle seat covers seeking a driven sales professional to grow our dealership and fleet network across Midrand, Pretoria and surrounding areas. You will work independently in the field, prospecting new business while nurturing existing accounts to achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, cold‑visit and pitch to dealership principals, sales managers and parts/accessories managers.
• Identify and develop fleet opportunities and other automotive customers.
• Conduct face‑to‑face product demonstrations using fabric swatches, sample kits and catalogues.
• Maintain regular contact with existing clients, upsell and cross‑sell to grow accounts.
• Plan and execute efficient travel routes, manage call cycles and report activity via the CRM system.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of proven external B2B sales experience, preferably in the automotive aftermarket.
• Hunter mentality with strong cold‑calling and prospecting skills, motivated by achieving sales targets.
• Ability to work independently on the road, strong self‑discipline and time‑management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities with dealership decision‑makers.
• Valid South African driver’s licence and willingness to travel regionally.
