Sales Representative – Automotive Dealership

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our automotive dealership team. You will guide customers through the entire vehicle purchasing journey, from the first enquiry to final delivery, while meeting monthly sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new vehicle sales opportunities.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and follow up on leads.
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicles.
• Present vehicle features, conduct demonstrations and test drives.
• Manage the full sales cycle, negotiate within approved parameters, and close deals.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and update records accurately.
• Collaborate with Finance & Insurance, Service, Parts and other dealership departments.
• Stay informed on vehicle specifications, pricing, promotions and competitor activity.
• Deliver a professional customer experience and achieve satisfaction targets.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification (essential).
• Relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or Automotive is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence (essential) and reliable transport (advantageous).
• Proven experience in motor vehicle or automotive sales.
