Sales Representative - Animal Health

About the role

Complement Recruitment is recruiting a Sales Representative for animal health, veterinary science, based in the East Rand area of Johannesburg. The role covers the East Rand and Mpumalanga territories, with extensive travel including possible overnight trips.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow key accounts to achieve sales targets, build strong customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Support new product launches and business initiatives.
• Manage account budgets, provide accurate sales forecasts and monitor performance, recommending improvements.
• Drive customer engagement through marketing and digital channels, work with customers, distributors and internal teams to ensure product availability, and coordinate technical support.

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate; tertiary qualification in Veterinary Science, Veterinary Nursing, Animal Health Science or similar.
• Preferably 3-5 years of animal health experience and sales experience.
• Previous sales and/or marketing experience in the animal health industry is preferable.
• Valid driver's licence, own transport and willingness to travel extensively.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge and ability to position products effectively for customers.
• Computer literacy, including mobile devices, with intermediate Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good oral and written communication in English.
