Sales Product Specialist – Storage

About the role

Network Finance is seeking a commercially driven Sales Product Specialist to promote warehouse storage, racking and material handling solutions across South Africa and the broader SADC region. The ideal candidate will act as a hunter, visiting customer warehouses, diagnosing operational challenges and delivering tailored, commercially viable storage solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, retail, distribution, mining, agriculture and automotive sectors.
• Prospect proactively through cold calling, networking, customer visits and industry events.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
• Conduct on‑site warehouse surveys, assess storage requirements and recommend optimized solutions such as pallet racking, long‑span shelving, boltless shelving, mezzanine floors and plastic bins.
• Prepare professional quotations, technical and commercial proposals, and coordinate tender submissions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts within commercial guidelines.
• Build relationships with key clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Design and Operations teams to ensure technical accuracy and solution feasibility.
• Maintain accurate CRM data, sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12; a qualification in Sales, Marketing or Business is advantageous.
• 3–5 years of external B2B sales experience in storage systems, racking or material handling solutions.
• Proven track record of new‑business development and account growth.
• Understanding of warehouse operations and basic warehouse design principles.
