Sales Operations Executive – FMCG Supply Chain (Northern KZN)

About the role

A well‑established FMCG manufacturing and distribution group is seeking a senior Sales Operations Executive to lead and optimise sales performance, commercial strategy, and operational alignment across the business in Northern KwaZulu‑Natal. The role suits an analytical, commercially driven leader with a proven record of revenue growth and team management in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage sales operations, reporting structures and performance tracking systems.
• Develop and implement sales strategies, budgets and revenue targets.
• Oversee regional sales team performance and accountability.
• Analyse sales data, market trends and customer behaviour to inform decisions.
• Manage and grow key accounts and distribution channels.
• Align sales strategy with production, logistics and supply‑chain operations.
• Develop pricing strategies, margin control and profitability models.
• Monitor and report on KPIs, forecasts and performance metrics.
• Identify new market opportunities, product expansion and growth initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement across sales processes, systems and structures.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Business Management, Marketing or similar (essential).
• Minimum 8 + years FMCG sales experience with exposure to manufacturing/distribution.
• Proven experience in sales leadership and team management.
• Strong commercial acumen focused on revenue growth and profitability.
• Stable employment history with a track record of performance.

Required skills

• Advanced analytical and reporting capability using Excel.
• Experience with sales systems and KPI tracking.
