Sales & Office Manager

About the role

Bonpak is looking for an experienced Sales & Office Manager to lead its Ndabeni branch. This dual‑function position combines field sales responsibilities with the management of an internal sales team and day‑to‑day office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients in food & beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors.
• Prospect and develop new business opportunities within the packaging industry.
• Identify, pursue and upsell suitable projects for existing and new accounts.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Oversee the internal sales team on office days and ensure smooth branch operations.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and pipeline updates for management.
• Prepare and present tailored quotes and proposals aligned with client packaging needs.
• Handle customer complaints and escalations promptly and professionally.
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events and networking functions.
• Develop deep product knowledge of glass and plastic packaging solutions.
• Monitor competitors and industry trends to inform sales strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of field sales experience, preferably in packaging, glass or plastics.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing client accounts.
• Experience managing or mentoring a sales team.
