Sales & Marketing Manager

About the role

Karen Tupper Recruitment is advertising a full-time Sales & Marketing Manager position in the Western Cape, South Africa. The role covers integrated sales and marketing, business development and client account management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated sales and marketing strategies across digital, social media, email, partnerships and on-site promotions.
• Generate new business through corporate clients, tourism partners, tour operators, weddings, events and hospitality channels.
• Manage sales enquiries, proposals, negotiations, client relationships and conversion pipelines.
• Develop packages, promotions and upselling initiatives to increase bookings and guest spend.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns, content, brand communications and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with operational teams to identify sales opportunities and support business objectives.
• Monitor sales performance, campaign results, budgets and return on investment, providing regular reports.

Required profile

• South African citizen residing in the Winelands area.
• Matric / Grade 12 qualification; a relevant degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or Hospitality is advantageous.
• At least 5 years' sales and marketing experience, preferably in wine, tourism, hospitality or leisure.
• Proven track record in business development, lead generation, negotiation and achieving revenue targets.
• Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns, partnerships and client accounts.
• Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well presented, professional, adaptable and confident in building stakeholder relationships.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends, public holidays and events as operationally required.
• Valid driver's licence with own, reliable transport.
