Sales & Marketing Learnership

About the role

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Sales & Marketing Learnership program at SAB, focusing on the Tavern Class of Trade. The role will support sustainable growth in brand equity, sales volume and market share while developing strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute merchandising, pricing, promotions and space strategies to ensure 100% availability of key brands.
• Monitor outlet volumes, manage stock rotation and drive effective execution of selective merchandising guidelines.
• Negotiate and implement interior and exterior price communications and oversee price‑point compliance.
• Manage SAB refrigeration assets, conduct asset verification surveys and ensure proper signage.
• Build and maintain relationships with tavern owners, conduct weekly calls and achieve sales and volume targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree.
• Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s licence.
• Basic computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office.
• Local area knowledge and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Successful completion of a driver’s assessment test prior to appointment.
