Sales Manager – Technical Products (Wadeville)

About the role

Our client, a leading player in recycling and sustainable manufacturing, is seeking a target‑driven Sales Manager to grow key accounts and generate new business across multiple product divisions. The role blends commercial acumen with technical product knowledge to deliver measurable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand key customer accounts across several product lines.
• Drive sales of technically specified products into existing and new markets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to broaden the customer base.
• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable product solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotations and oversee the sales process from enquiry to closure.
• Build long‑term relationships and uncover upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Take ownership of sales targets, commercial outcomes and market monitoring.
• Travel to customers and prospects as required.

Required profile

• Matric and tertiary qualification in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Commerce or related field.
• Proven experience in a commercial or sales role, preferably in a technical, manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong technical understanding of product specifications and customer applications.
• Excellent administrative and organisational abilities.
• Target‑driven with a strong sense of accountability.
• Ability to work independently and own outcomes.
• Willingness to travel; own vehicle essential.
