Sales Manager – Micro‑Lending (Durban South)

About the role

Our micro‑lending client is seeking a dynamic, results‑driven Sales Manager to lead and grow a network of loan branches in Durban South and the wider KZN region. You will be responsible for increasing loan volumes, building high‑performing teams, and expanding the company’s market footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily sales operations across the KZN loan‑branch network.
• Lead, motivate and mentor branch sales teams to achieve personal‑loan targets.
• Implement regional sales strategies to grow market share.
• Ensure strict compliance with National Credit Regulator (NCR) and internal lending guidelines.
• Monitor branch metrics, analyse sales data and take corrective actions as needed.
• Travel frequently across branches, with occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within loan or financial services.
• Proven track record managing multi‑site networks of loan or financial branches.
• Deep knowledge of the micro‑loan sector.
• Relevant qualification in Business Management, Finance or Sales.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly across KZN.

• Salary range R15,000 – R20,000 per month plus performance bonuses and commission.
