Sales Manager – Commercial Vehicles

About the role

Our client, a leading commercial vehicle dealership, is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead its operations in Middelburg. The role focuses on driving growth across light, medium and heavy commercial vehicle lines while building high‑performing sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sales growth initiatives to meet and exceed monthly targets for all commercial vehicle segments.
• Recruit, onboard, train and mentor a team of commercial sales executives.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with logistics firms, fleet operators and corporate clients.
• Forecast sales volumes, manage vehicle inventory and coordinate with the OEM to ensure product availability.
• Conduct market intelligence, monitor competitor pricing and collaborate with marketing on lead‑generation campaigns.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in truck sales management or commercial vehicle dealership leadership.
• Grade 12 qualification; tertiary education in Sales, Marketing or Business Management is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of commercial vehicle financing, fleet procurement and negotiation.
• Valid driver’s licence.
