Sales Executive – Retail Loss Control & Security Solutions

About the role

Our client, a well‑established provider of retail loss control and security solutions, is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to drive business growth in Pretoria East. The role combines technology‑focused selling with strong relationship building to help retailers protect their assets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the retail sector.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Promote and sell loss‑control and security solutions, including RFID, CCTV and people‑counting packages.
• Conduct client presentations and product demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Source new clients through cold calling and networking.
• Close deals and ensure smooth hand‑over to implementation teams.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience with a successful track record.
• Computer literate with strong general IT skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s licence and own car.

Required skills

• Knowledge of RFID technology.
• Experience with CCTV systems.
• Familiarity with people‑counting packages.
• Understanding of office automation, computer hardware, software and networking.
