About the role
We are looking for a Sales Engineer to expand our technical solutions in the African mining market. Based in Edenvale, Gauteng, you will focus on French‑speaking African countries, driving growth and building strong customer relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mining sector across French‑speaking African territories.
- Conduct solution‑based selling of valves and actuators, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships, providing technical expertise and support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of proven sales experience with a track record of meeting targets.
- Experience in the African mining industry.
- Background in selling valves and/or actuators.
- Relevant business or engineering qualification.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proactive, organised and commercially astute.
- French language skills are advantageous.
