Sales Development Representative (SDR) – US Business Funding

About the role

Join Fundwell’s fast‑growing US business funding team as a Sales Development Representative. You will be the first point of contact for American small‑ and medium‑size business owners, helping them secure capital quickly and transparently.

Key responsibilities

• Make 150–200 outbound calls daily to US business owners.
• Engage decision‑makers in real conversations, not scripted pitches.
• Identify genuine funding needs and match prospects with the appropriate product.
• Maintain clean, detailed notes in the CRM to ensure no opportunity slips.
• Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in outbound sales, telesales, call‑centre or B2B sales.
• Fluent, confident English suitable for conversations with US business owners.
• Resilient under rejection and able to stay motivated from the first to the 200th call.
• Strong target‑orientation with a proven track record of hitting goals.
• Willingness to work US‑hour shifts (2 PM–11 PM or 3 PM–12 AM SAST) onsite in Fourways.
• Eligibility to work in South Africa.
