Sales Development Representative (Remote)

About the role

Contigo Commercial Finance is seeking a confident, articulate Sales Development Representative to work remotely from South Africa. You will be the first point of contact for UK healthcare businesses, conducting cold outreach and reactivating inbound enquiries to identify funding needs and schedule qualified handovers.

Key responsibilities

• Make a minimum of 50 outbound calls per day to UK business owners and decision‑makers.
• Open conversations, uncover cash‑flow pain points and funding requirements.
• Qualify prospects by confirming purpose, amount, timeline and authority.
• Log all activity, notes and handover details accurately in the CRM.
• Pass qualified opportunities to lending specialists only after explicit client consent.
• Represent Contigo professionally on every call.

Required profile

• Exceptional spoken English with a warm, professional tone.
• Previous experience in cold calling, telesales or appointment setting preferred.
• Comfortable speaking with UK business owners and professionals.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Resilient to rejection and detail‑oriented in logging calls.
• Familiarity with CRM systems; experience in financial services is a bonus.

What we offer

• Base salary of $500 per month (subject to meeting call minimum).
• Tiered commission per qualified handover (uncapped), with OTE $750‑$1,000+ per month for consistent performers.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
