Sales Consultant – KZN & Eastern Cape

About the role

The Sales Consultant will deliver a professional, customer‑focused sales experience across the KZN and Eastern Cape regions. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, identify their needs and provide appropriate product and service solutions to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sales from a portfolio of accounts, meeting agreed targets and maximizing profitability.
• Conduct sales of goods and services, advertise and demonstrate products, and provide after‑sales support.
• Compile monthly sales data, including call reports, competitor pricing and share‑of‑wallet analysis for the department head.
• Maintain product knowledge, market dynamics and competitor information to adapt sales techniques.
• Identify new business opportunities through networking, prospecting and relationship building.
• Ensure proper sales procedures, manage in‑store stock and assist with consignment audits.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sales or Marketing; a Bachelor’s degree is advantageous.
• 3‑5 years’ experience in a sales role with proven results, including sales management.
• Knowledge of marketing and sales processes, including quoting systems and advertising material management.
• Ability to compile and analyse sales information and respond to customer enquiries effectively.
