Sales & Business Development Executive – Yachting (Remote, South Africa)

About the role

This remote position focuses on generating new business and nurturing existing relationships within the South African yachting community for a premium provisioning company serving the Mediterranean market.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and win new clients within the South African yachting community, focusing on yacht chefs, chief stewardesses and interior crew.
• Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline, record activities in the CRM and coordinate onboarding with the international operations team.
• Manage day‑to‑day relationships with an allocated existing client base, communicating offers, product information and order updates via WhatsApp.
• Develop a strong presence in the local yacht‑crew network, attend training academies and industry events, and feed market insights back to the business.

Required profile

• Proven sales capability with a hunter mentality, track record of meeting or exceeding targets and strong relationship‑building skills.
• Experience or familiarity with the yachting, hospitality or luxury services sector is advantageous, especially existing contacts within the South African yacht‑crew community.
• Excellent spoken and written English; French is a plus.
