Sales Associate – 120hr, 3‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking an energetic Sales Associate to join Sportscene in Lydenburg on a 120‑hour, three‑month contract. The role involves delivering an outstanding customer experience, promoting our fashion and décor range, and supporting store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand ambassador, providing friendly and knowledgeable service to every customer.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products, aiming to exceed sales targets.
• Maintain awareness of current fashion and décor trends to advise shoppers effectively.
• Monitor personal sales performance against set goals and seek opportunities to increase sales.
• Assist with stock replenishment and ensure the sales floor is tidy and ready for shoppers.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Strong passion for people and customer service.
• Target‑driven attitude with a focus on results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Self‑motivated, independent and proactive.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
