About the role
Join Smyths Toys as a temporary Sales Assistant at the Forestside store in Belfast. You will be part of a fast‑paced retail team, delivering excellent customer service and supporting daily store operations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service and identify customers' needs.
- Work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast‑paced team.
- Maintain store cleanliness and tidiness.
- Stock shelves, pack merchandise and handle deliveries.
- Perform price changes and operate the tills.
- Stay up‑to‑date with product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
Required profile
- Flexible availability, as the store operates seven days a week.
- Retail experience is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to engage with customers of all ages, especially families.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
