About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant to join our Johannesburg store and deliver a world‑class experience for customers of the Hydraulics brand. The role involves engaging shoppers on the shop floor, providing product knowledge and supporting daily store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers on the shop floor and provide a strong in‑store experience.
• Support customers with product knowledge, sizing, styling, and availability.
• Drive sales through confident customer engagement and service.
• Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards.
• Process purchases, exchanges, and customer queries professionally.
• Assist with stock receiving, replenishment, and stockroom organisation.
• Stay up to date with Hydraulics brands, products, and trends.
• Support daily store operations and team responsibilities.
• Build positive customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.
• Work towards store sales targets and service expectations.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in clothing retail.
• Passionate about high‑end fashion and current trends.
• Excellent communicator.
• Strong focus on customer service and relations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
