Sales Assistant – Festival Ticketing & VIP Packages

About the role

Get Real is Cape Town’s leading house music festival, renowned for world‑class production and high‑energy electronic music experiences. We are looking for two vibrant, customer‑centric Sales Assistants to join our in‑house festival operations team, acting as brand ambassadors handling ticketing, VIP hospitality packages and exclusive merchandise for community and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Engage inbound leads via phone, email and live chat, providing polished consultations on festival dates, ticket tiers and premium experiences.
• Guide festival‑goers and corporate groups through digital ticketing and registration systems, ensuring correct selection of tickets, hospitality suites and merchandise packages.
• Convert inquiries into premium ticket and retail sales, consistently meeting daily and weekly revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate, real‑time records of client interactions, bookings and transaction statuses in the central CRM database.
• Represent the brand with an articulate, encouraging tone that aligns with the festival’s high‑energy identity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in target‑driven retail sales, event hospitality or consultative customer‑facing roles.
• Comfort operating in high‑volume client environments aligned with Cape Town market trends.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication with a polished, persuasive tone.
• High intrinsic motivation and ability to manage a busy digital queue independently.
• Ability to work within structured corporate processes and performance‑tracking metrics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Experience using POS or box‑office software.
• Familiarity with online payment gateways.
