Sales Assistant – Delivery & Cash Collection

About the role

The Sales Assistant supports the Salesman‑driver in the daily delivery of Premier products and, where required, assists with cash and tray collection. This position is ideal for a target‑driven individual who thrives in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment and pays close attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Verify company products against the loading sheet and sign off.
• Ensure adherence to standard departure times.
• Maintain vehicle safety and hygiene standards.
• Collect cash from customers and perform daily cash reconciliation where applicable.
• Off‑load products at customer locations.
• Report any accidents immediately to the transport department and Service Manager.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• 1–2 years experience in FMCG.
• Valid Driver’s License (code 10/CI) with PDP.
• Strong people‑management and relationship‑building abilities.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Excellent communication skills at all organisational levels.
• Self‑motivated, responsible and able to work under pressure.
