Sales Assistant – Commercial Support

About the role

Our client in the medical devices and healthcare industry is looking for a proactive, highly organised Sales Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative, operational and commercial support to a specialised sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day administrative and commercial support to the sales team, including quotations, reports, customer documentation and system queries.
• Maintain customer master data, pricing information, allocations and consignment documentation, and support SAP and Salesforce administration.
• Coordinate finance and operational processes such as purchase orders, invoices, supplier payments, inventory administration and logistics.
• Assist with public and private tender submissions and ensure accurate compliance documentation for audits.
• Organise training events, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, travel arrangements and related marketing activities.
• Support sales reporting and business analysis using Power BI and other reporting tools.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales Administration, Commercial Management or related field (advantageous).
• 3–5 years’ experience in sales administration, commercial support or sales operations.
• Strong administrative, planning, organisational and attention‑to‑detail skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
